Abstract Objective: To investigate the effect of Suanzaoren Decoction combined with continuous iliac fascia space block on postoperative indexes in patients with hip operation. Method: A total of 100 patients with hip operation admitted to Jiujiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to June 2021 were selected and divided into two groups with 50 patients in each group according to random number table method. The control group received routine perioperative analgesia, and the observation group received Suanzaoren Decoction combined with continuous iliac fascia space block. The levels of observation indexes (analgesic effect, hemodynamics, postoperative delirium, adverse reactions) before and after operation were compared between the two groups. Result: There were no significant differences in static and dynamic pain scores between the two groups before operation (P>0.05). Static pain scores at 4, 12, 24 and 48 h after surgery in the observation group and dynamic pain scores at 24 and 48 h after surgery were lower than those in the control group, there were statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in hemodynamic level between the two groups before operation (P>0.05). Diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure and heart rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at 4, 12, 24 and 48 h after operation (P<0.05). The total incidence of delirium at 4, 12, 24 and 48 h after operation in the observation group was 4.00%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group, the difference between groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 6.00%, lower than 22.00% in the control group, the difference between groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: After the application of Suanzaoren Decoction combined with continuous iliac fascia space block, the analgesic effect of patients undergoing hip surgery is significantly improved, the level of self-hemodynamics tends to be normal, and postoperative delirium and adverse reactions are significantly reduced, which lays the foundation for a good prognosis of patients.
