Abstract Objective: To explore the effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing on elderly patients with femoral neck fracture undergoing surgery. Method: A total of 100 elderly patients with femoral neck fracture admitted to Nan’an Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were enrolled. All patients were treated with hip replacement. They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine, the observation group received rapid rehabilitation. The Harris hip function score was used to evaluate the excellent recovery of joint function in the two groups, the time of getting out of bed, length of hospitalization and hospitalization cost of the two groups were analyzed, the visual analog scale (VAS) was used to evaluate the degree of pain before and after nursing 2 and 4 weeks, and the incidence of complications was observed in the two groups. Result: The excellent and good rate of hip joint function in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The time of getting out of bed and the length of hospitalization in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the hospitalization cost was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups (P>0.05); after 2 and 4 weeks of nursing, the VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing is better in elderly patients undergoing surgery with femoral neck fracture. It can not only improve and strengthen the function of hip joint, but also relieve pain and reduce complications, so as to shorten the hospitalization time and promote the recovery of disease.
