Abstract Non-acquired hemolytic disease of newborn is a common disease in neonatal period, its etiology is complex and diverse, and it often leads to missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis due to its similar clinical manifestations. It is mainly hemolytic disease caused by congenital defects of red blood cells, including enzyme defects of red blood cells, morphological abnormalities of red blood cells, hemoglobin disease and hemolytic disease of newborn. This article reviews the research progress in the pathogenesis of non-acquired hemolytic diseases in newborns.
