Abstract Objective:To study the effects of salvianolate on MDA, NADPH oxidase p22phox in patients with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervebtion, explore the role of salvianolate in retarding oxidative stress.Method:83 patients with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervebtion were divided randomly into therapy group(46 cases)and control group(37 cases).Therapy group was treated with salvianolate( 200 mg/d) and antiplatelet, anticoagulation, blood fat adjustment. And control group was treated with simple ntiplatelet, anticoagulation and blood fat adjustment.MDA,NADPH oxidase p22phox and adverse effect of salvianolate were observed on admission and 2 weeks after treatment.Result:(1) Expression of phagocytic NADPH oxidase p22phox and MDA in therapy group was both lower significantly after treatment( P<0.05).(2) Expression of phagocytic NADPH oxidase p22phox and MDA of control group was lower after treatment, but the difference was not significant.(3) Expression of phagocytic NADPH oxidase p22phox and MDA of therapy group after treatment was lower significantly than that of control group( P<0.05).Conclusion:Salvianolate could depress MDA and phagocytic NADPH oxidase p22phox, and its mechanism may be by retarding oxidative stress.
