Abstract Objective：To study the application and effects of Simvastatin on patients with hypertension antihypertensive smoothness.Method：100 patients in our hospital were diagnosed with essential hypertension（ lipids normal or slightly higher， LDL-C<3.1 mmol/L）， and were randomly divided into lipid anti-hypertensive treatment and control groups， lipid-lowering blood pressure treatment group on the basis of conventional therapy plus simvastatin 20 mg/qd，while the control group with conventional therapy. Two groups of patients adjust the dose of anti-hypertensive drugs until they reach target blood pressure（ BP<140/90 mm Hg）， and no difference in anti-hypertensive drug therapy， patients in both groups three months arterial blood pressure checks before and after treatment， before and after treatment buck smooth changes of two groups were compared.Result：The lipid lowering with simvastatin treatment group buck smoothness（ SI）increased compared with the control group（ P<0.05）.Conclusion：Simvastatin has certain curative effect on primary hypertension anti-hypertensive smoothness.
