| Predictive Value of Plasma Osteopontin Level in Cervical Cancer Recurrence |

Abstract Objective：To investigate the change of plasma osteopontin（ OPN） level before and after treatment in cervical cancer patients and in cervical cancer recurrence.Method：The plasma OPN levels of 238 cervical cancer patients before and after treatment were measured by ELISA and followed for up to 5 years. The relations of between plasma OPN level and clinical variables， recurrence were analyzed.Result：Plasma OPN levels was associated with differentiation degree and metastasis in patients with stage Ⅰb-Ⅱa cervical cancer（P<0.05）and not associated with age， clinical stage and pathological type（P>0.05）. Plasma OPN expression level decreased obviously after treatment（P<0.05）.When cervical cancer recurrence plasma OPN level was significantly higher than without recurrence（P<0.05）.Conclusion：The evaluation of plasma level of OPN may be helpful to predict the recurrence of cervical cancer patients in advance.
