| Clinical Study of Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablets Combined with Kuntai Capsules in the Treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome |

Abstract Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablets combined with Kuntai Capsules in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Method: A total of 82 PCOS patients admitted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of People's Hospital of Yangdong District Yangjiang City from March to November 2021 were selected and divided into reference group and combination group according random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablets, and the combination group was treated with Kuntai Capsules on the basis of the reference group. Reproductive endocrine indexes, antral follicle count, estradiol (E2) level, endometrial thickness, Insler cervix score, ovulation rate and pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups. Result: There were no significant differences in reproductive endocrine indexes between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the follicle stimulating hormone in the combination group was lower than that in the reference group, and the level of sex hormone-binding globulin was higher than that in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the antral follicle count in the combination group was lower than that in the reference group, and the level of E2 in the day of Chorionic Gonadotrophin for Injection for intramuscular injection was higher than that in the reference group, the endometrial thickness was greater than that in the reference group, and the Insler cervical score was higher than that in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the ovulation rate and conception rate in the combination group were higher than those in the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablets combined with Kuntai Capsules is more effective than that Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablets alone in the treatment of PCOS, which can improve the reproductive endocrine disorder and increase the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate.
