Abstract Objective： To ensure the safety of drug use，through Quality Control Circle（QCC）to reduce theoutpatient pharmacy dispensing error rate. Method：It had been carried out to plan， implementation， verification andimprovement according to the ten steps of QCC activity. Various reasons causing dispensing errors was analyzed， thesolutions were explored and put them into effect， the tangible results（ dispensing error rate） and the intangible results（circle ability） were evaluated.Result：After carrying out the QCC activity，the outpatient pharmacy dispensing errorrate was significantly reduced， from 6 ‰ dropping to 1.9 ‰， thecircle member get great improvement in the aspects ofdiscovering problems ability， communication and coordination ability and the group spirit. Conclusion：The developmentof QCC activity is feasible to reduce the the outpatient pharmacy dispensing error rate， suggesting the popularization andapplication.
