Abstract Objective：To analyze the reasons of unqualified blood specimens in clinical test and put forward the corresponding prevention measures.Method：150 unqualified blood specimens form different departments in Nanyang Central Hospital from September 2010 to September 2012 were selected as the objects of this study.The error information of those clinical materials were sorted out and reported back to the corresponding departments.Then staff from the corresponding departments were invited to participate in this study， jointly analyzing the causes of errors and proposing countermeasures.Result：After analyzing the 150 specimens，it can be concluded that the common reasons of unqualified blood specimens were sample hemolysis，blood coagulation， late submission， in correct use of anticoagulant， influence of drugs，etc.Conclusion：According to the causes of the unqualified blood specimens， it is necessary to take preventive measures to reduce the unqualified blood samples， so that to improve the accuracy of clinical test.
