Abstract Objective：To investigate the methods of borne diseases prevention in the blood purification center.Method：The prevention of blood borne diseases for effective management from established and completed the management，improved the relevant system，the staff passed the test and physical examination；the layout and
facilities of blood purification center shall meet the requirements of management；implemented strictly the system and process of hospital infection management；the related equipment，supplies and water quality monitoring shall meet the specifications；disposed the medical waste in strict accordance with the rules of hospital and so on.Result：The blood borne disease prevalence rate was zero in 10 000 dialysis patients since August 2011 in our blood purification center. Conclusion：Do a good job of infection prevention work in blood purification center，can effectively reduce the blood borne diseases in the blood purification center.
