Abstract Osteoblasts and adipocytes are derived from bone marrow stromal cells. Both of them have transdifferentiation each other under a certain condition. Osteocytes are differentiated from osteoblasts embedded in the bone matrix， but found in research of bone cell function， osteocytes have the tendency to dedifferentiate into osteoblasts.This paper introduces the correlation of osteoblasts， osteocytes ， adipocytes and their key genes combined with the latest research，and emphasizes the differentiation from osteoblasts into adipocytes and its possible mechanism， and it also narrates the research of differentiation from osteoblasts into osteocytes for reference to the colleagues.
