Abstract Objective: To explore the efficacy of spasmolysis and antihypertension in the treatment of pregnancyinduced hypertension by magnesium sulfate. Method:122 patients were selected with pregnancy-induced hypertension who were admitted to our hospital from August 2012 to August 2014 and received the treatment of magnesium sulfate.Mean blood pressure, respiration, pulse rate, urinary volume, knee jerk, Uric acid, urea nitrogen and creatinine were observed before and after treatment. The efficacy of spasmolysis and antihypertension in the treatment of pregnancy-induced hypertension by magnesium sulfate were analyzed. Result: Compared before and after the treatment, 122 patients’ mean blood pressure significantly reduced, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Uric acid, urea nitrogen, and creatinine also significantly reduced, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The significant effective were 74 patients(66.07%),the effective were 32 patients(28.57%),the ineffective were 6 patients(5.36%),total effective rate was 94.64%,incidence of complication rate 5.36%.Conclusion: Magnesium sulfate in the treatment of pregnancy-induced hypertension has a favorable effect and can effectively reduce the blood pressure and relive spasm.Furthermore, incidence rate of complication rate is reduced. It’s worthy of clinical promotion and application.
