Abstract Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of autologous cartilage ear nose flat treatment.Method: In 64 routine flat nose rhinoplasty patients, 34 cases of autologous ear cartilage as the observation group, 30cases of application of septal cartilage as the control group, the results of operations and surgical time of two groups werecompared. Result: Comparison of the effect of surgery observation group and the control group, the difference was not
statistically significant(P>0.05). The average operation time of the observation group were significantly shorter than thecontrol group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The postoperative complications did not occur any,and expressed satisfaction with the tip of the nose shape. Conclusion: Autologous ear cartilage and autologous therapeuticeffect of septal cartilage of the nose are quite flat, but take ear cartilage is more convenient, simple, and shorter surgicaltime.
