| The Association between Levels of OPG and RANKL in Gingival Crevicular revicular Fluid（ GCF） and Periodontitis in Postmenopausal Women |

Abstract Objective： To investigate the changes and significance of the receptor activator for osteoprotegerin （OPG） and receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa B ligand（ RANKL） in gingival crevicular fluid（ GCF） in postmenopausal women with periodontitis. Method： To follow careful sampling of GCF with moisture absorption paper point strips in patients. The level of OPG and RANKL was detected using ELISA technique. Result： The GI， PLI， PD，AL difference was significant between the two groups（ P<0.01）. There was significant difference in levels of RANKL，OPG and the ratio of RANKL/OPG in GCF between the two groups（ P<0.01）. Conclusion： The result suggests that the increasing production of RANKL and reducing production of OPG maybe associated with the initiation and progress of periodontitis.
