Abstract Objective： To discuss the approach complication cause and precautionary measures by modified radical mastectomy. Method： 120 cases clinical data of breast cancer were analyzed in our hospital general surgery department from Janury 2010 to May 2014，which were divided into control group of 60 cases and observation group of 60 cases. The control group was used in longitudinal fusiform incision，observation group was used in transverse incision. Result： The postoperative complications、postoperative recurrence rate and transport rate of observation group were lower than control group， the difference were statistical significance（P<0.05）. Conclusion： The complication cause by modified radical mastectomy are analyzed，the incidence of postoperative complications by precautionary measures are decreased，prognostic level is increased.
