Application Effect of Intensive Care Nursing Scoring System in Nursing Resources Allocation of ICU |

Abstract Objective: To investigate the application effect of intensive care nursing scoring system in nursing resources allocation of ICU. Method: 120 intensive patients admitted in ICU of our hospital were selected, 56 cases from January to June as control group, 64 cases from July to December as observation group. The patients of the control group were given routine care management, and were assigned to each tube bed nurse; patients of the observation group were given nursing resource allocation according to intensive care nursing scoring system. The hospital stay time, treatment costs, complications and nursing satisfaction of patients was compared, nursing quality score and nurses’ satisfaction were evaluated. Result: The hospital stay time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, hospital cost was lower than that of the control group, nursing satisfaction score was higher , the difference was significant( P<0.05). The pressure sore, unplanned extubation, nosocomial infection rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group( P<0.05). The nursing quality score and nurses’ satisfaction score of the observation group was significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05). Conclusion: In ICU, nursing resource allocation according to intensive care nursing scoring system can improve the efficiency and quality of nursing care, it is worth applications.
