Abstract Objective：To observe the effect of Euphorbia fischeriana polysaccharide（ EFP-AW1） on the P-selectin expression in HUVECs induced by TNF-α. Method：HUVECs were divided into normal group，TNF-α stimulation group and EFP-AW1 and TNF-α associated stimulation group.Flow cytometry was used to measure the level of P-selectin protein in HUVECs cell； and Real-time PCR were applied to assay status of P-selectin mRNA expression in HUVECs cell.Result：TNF-α stimulation group had significantly increased the levels of P-selectin mRNA and protein（P<0.05）. Compared with the group stimulated of TNF-α，the expression of P-selectin mRNA and protein in HUVECs cell had apparently decreased by pre-treated with EFP-AW1（P<0.05），and had a certain dose dependent.Conclusion：EFPAW1 could inhibit the expression of P-selectin induced by TNF-α in endothelial cells.
