Abstract Diabetes is characterized by chronic hyperglycemia metabolic diseases. with the improvement of people's living standards， the aging population， the incidence rate was gradually rising trend. Diabetes pathogenesis is still not very clear so far， and pathogenesis of diabetes is now a hot topic. Interleukin-4（IL-4）（ 10kb） located on chromosome 5q31.1， there are four polymorphic alleles. which has a strong linkage disequilibrium.
