The Therapeutic Effect Observation on Edaravone Combined with Piracetam in Treating Large Area Cerebral Infarction

Abstract  Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of treatmenting large area cerebral infarction with edaravone combined with piracetam. Method: 120 cases of large area cerebral infarction patients were selected from March 2013 to May 2014 in our hospital, according to the treatment methods were randomly divided two groups,60 cases in each group,and patients in the control group were given edaravone treatment, and patients in the experimental group were given edaravone combined with piracetam in treatment.The nervous system defect with score and muscle recovery situation in two groups of patients were compared. Result: in the experimental group 14 d after treatment,NIHSS score and CSS score were significantly lower than those in the control group, the patients in the experimental group the myodynamia recovery 5 level were significantly higher than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusion: Edaravone combined of piracetam can effectively improve the patients with nerve damage in the treatment of large area cerebral infarction, improve the quality of recovery, has a certain value in clinical application.
