Abstract Objective:To investigate efficacy of azithromycin and erythromycin in treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia and the effects on immunoglobulins and T lymphocyte subsets.Method:108 cases of mycoplasma pneumonia in children were selected from our hospital during the period from November 2012 to November 2013,they were randomly divided into observation group and control group in accordance with the treatment order, 54 cases in each group, two groups of children were given cough, fever and other routine treatment, on this basis, the control group were treated with g erythromycin, the observation group were treated with azithromycin, after 4 weeks of treatment, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of two groups were compared.Result: Total efficiency of the observation group was 96.30%,significantly higher than the 79.63% in control group(P<0.05).Cooling time, time cough, pulmonary rales disappeared time and average length of stay of the observation group were significantly less than the control group(P<0.05).IgA,IgG,IgM,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ ratio level of the observation group were significantly higher the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of the observation group was 5.56%,significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Azithromycin in treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia have significant effect, can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs, and the adverse reaction is small, safe, worth promoting and applications in clinical.
