Abstract Objective： To study the clinical effect sodium bicarbonate with nystatin on the treatment of pediatricthrush， for the proof of this kind of disease. Method： A total of 242 cases of 0 to 6 months thrush pediatric patients fromDecember 2010 to September 2013in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups，121 cases in each group. Thecontrol group was coated nystatin powder， the treatment groups was treated by 20% of sodium bicarbonate for 3-4 timesa day on the base of the nystatin powder， the clinical symptoms disappear time， the recurrence rate， the total clinicaleffect and the adverse effect were observed and compared. Result： The time of vitiligo disappear of 1-2 days in treatmentgroup significant higher than the control group，the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）； the treatmentgroup of recurrence rate in 3 months and 6 months were 2.2% and 4.7%， they were significant lower than the control groupof 10.9% and 24.4%，the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）； treatment group of total effective rate was96.7% and the control group of total effective rate was 81.1%， the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）； therash and vomiting were significant lower than the control group， the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion： The effect of sodium bicarbonate with nystatin on pediatric thrush is remarkable， the symptom in clinical isimproved， the recurrence is high， the clinical effect is better， the tolerance is well. It is worth for clinical use.
