Abstract Objective：To analyze the clinical effect of metformin combined with marvelon（desogestrel ethinylestradiol） treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome.Method：By random digits table in our hospital 60 cases of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome were divided into two groups：the treatment group was given metformin， and the experimental group was given metformin combined with marvelon（ desogestrel ethinylestradiol），and the clinical effect of two groups of patients was observed and compared after treatment.Result：After treatment， in the experimental group the total effective rate（96.67%） was significantly higher than that of the control group（70.00%），and the physiological indexes of patients in the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group，and the pregnancy rate of patients in the experimental group（90.00%） was significantly higher than the control group（50.00%），and there was statistical significant（P<0.05）.Conclusion：Metformin combined with marvelon（desogestrel ethinylestradiol） treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome infertility，not only can improve the patients with insulin resistance，but also effectively promote the ovulation in order to achieve the purpose of pregnancy，safe and effective and clinical practice.
