Abstract Objective：To observe and analyze the application effect of target nursing on children’s pneumonia nursing.Method： 160 children with pneumonia who accepted treatment in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2014 were selected as research objects. They were divided into test group and control group，with 80 cases in each group. The control group were given routine hospitalization nursing and the test group were given target nursing intervention，comparing the two groups’ nursing effect after intervention. Result：The X-ray examination of the test group showed the shadow of 78 cases disappeared or shrunk， 2 cases had no changes. The X-ray examination of the control group showed the shadow of 70 cases disappeared or shrunk， 10 cases had no changes. The improvement rate of chest X-ray examination results of the test group（97.5%） was significantly higher than that of the control group（87.5%）（P<0.05）.The recovery time of body temperature and hospitalization time of the test group were significantly lower than that of the control group（P<0.05）.Conclusion：Target nursing can improve pneumonia children’s lung infection and shorten the recovery time of body temperature and the hospitalization time. So there is practical promotion value of the target nursing.
