Abstract Objective:To explore the relationship the expression of autophagy-related gene MARVELD1 inhuman glioma tissue. Method: Western blot and RT-PCR technology were used to detect the expressions of MARVELD1protein and mRNA in 33 cases of glioma tissue and 11 cases of normal brain tissue. Result:There were significantdifferences in the expressions of MARVELD1 protein and mRNA among normal brain tissue grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ andⅣ glioma tissue(P<0.05). The expressions of MARVELD1 protein and mRNA in grade Ⅲ and grade Ⅳ gliomatissue were lower than those in grade Ⅰ, grade Ⅱ glioma tissue and normal brain tissue(P<0.05). The expressionof MARVELD1 protein in grade Ⅰ and grade Ⅱ glioma tissue was lower than that in normal brain tissue(P<0.05).Conclusion: MARVELD1 of glioma malignancy judge has a certain significance, and provides a new target for the clinicaltreatment of glioma.
