Abstract Objective:To investigate the characteristic and significance of the brain function and the brain neurotransmitter changes in Alzheimer’s disease.Method:19 patients with clinically diagnosed AD were selected from the city proper of Qiqihar as the case group.According to the same community, sex, age( ±3 years), and the educational level, 19 healthy elderly were selected as control group.To use the Encephal of lutuograph technology to test the brain function and the levels of their brain neurotransmitter, compare and analyze the brain function and the characteristic of the brain neurotransmitter changes in Alzheimer’s disease.Result:The anterior-posterior reversal rates of dominant power in encephal of lutuograph were higher in the case group than those of the control group( P<0.01).Compared with the control group, three neurotransmitters of the γ-GABA, Glu, and Ach in the case group were significantly lower(P<0.05).Comparison of three neurotransmitters of the 5-HT, NE, and the DA in the case group and the control group,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:AD Brain power reversal rates are higher in Alzheimer’s disease than the case group.The brain neurotransmitter of γ-GABA, Glu, and Ach in Alzheimer’s disease changes lower.The Encephal of lutuograph technology can test the levels of brain neurotransmitter, provide reference for the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.
