Abstract Objective:Through the analysis of plasma EBV-DNA quantification in advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma( NPC) in different stages, further confirmed that plasma EBV-DNA quantification in diagnosis and staging of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and the clinical significance.Method:Using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay in 60 patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma peripheral plasma EBV-DNA level.Result:Ⅲ, Ⅳa, Ⅳb NPC EBV-DNA positive rate was 100%; the median copy number was 6.00×103 copies/mL in Ⅲ stage; the median copy number was 15.15×103 copies/mL in Ⅳa stage; the median copy number was 43.60×103 copies/mL in Ⅳb+Ⅳc stage. Conclusion:There are obvious differences in different patients with newly diagnosed advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma staging of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in peripheral plasma EBV-DNA level.
