Abstract Objective：To explore the clinical treatment of senile gastrointestinal bleeding and the effect. Method： 58 cases of elderly patients with gastrointestinal bleeding randomly divided into two groups， each group of 29 cases. Control group were treated by endoscopic injection of 1：10 000 epinephrine treatment，observation group of patients with endoscopic injection curing agent treatment，compared two groups of hemostatic rate， length of hospital stay，and bleeding rate， incidence of complications and mortality rate. Result：Two groups of patients in hospital time， success rate of hemostasis and bleeding rate， incidence of complications and mortality were significantly better than the control group， the difference is statistically significant（ P<0.05）.Conclusion：Endoscopic injection of hardener treatment of the senile gastrointestinal bleeding effect is remarkable， is beneficial to reduce the bleeding rate again， is worth popularization and application in clinic.
