Abstract Objective:To study the effect of risk management in the wards of neurology department.Method:70 cases of patients were selected to set control and observation group respectively, then compared the risk rate, satisfaction of patients and the quality of service of this two groups with before and after the implementation of risk management.Result:After implementing risk management in the wards of department of neurology, the risk rate was significantly lower than that of the control group.The degree of significant in the observation group was 87.1%, those in control group was 45.7%, showing significant difference.The quality of care increased remarkably when compared to control group.Conclusion:The implementation of risk management in the wards of neurology department can reduce the incidence of risk and improve the nursing quality and satisfaction of patients.
