Abstract Objective:To investigate the effects and safety of azelastine nasal spray combined with desloratadine for the treatment of allergic rhinitis.Method:174 cases of allergic rhinitis in our hospital were selected from January 2012 to September 2014 and were randomly divided into research group and control group,87 cases in each group.The control group was treated with azelastine nasal spray,the research group was treated with azelastine nasal spray combined with desloratadine.The total effective rate,symptom scores before and after treatment and adverse reactions rate were compared.Result:The total effective rate of
research group was 93.1%,which was higher than 80.5% of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The symptom scores of two groups before treatment had no significant difference( P>0.05);after treatment,the symptom scores of research group was better than control group,the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05).The adverse reactions rate of two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Azelastine nasal spray combined with desloratadine in the treatment of allergic rhinitis has exact effect.It can effectively relieve clinical symptoms without serious adverse reactions.It’s worthy of clinical widely used.
