Abstract Objective：To study the clinicopathologic features， diagnosis and differential diagnosis of small cellcarcinoma（ SCC） of salivary glands in oral and maxillofical.Method：This paper presented 2 case of SCC of minor salivaryglands in palate and parotid gland. Pathological，clinical data and immunohistochemistry were analyzed retrospectively.Result：Microscopically， the tumour cell nests consisted of anaplastic small tumor cells， and had small foci of ductal
differentiation. The tumor cells expressed NSE， and CD56 by immunohistochemical staining， but negative for CgA，Syn，p63，S-100，actin and calponin. Conclusion：The tumor can be diagnosed with its characteristic small cells and at leasttwo neuroendocrine markers can be expressed.
