Abstract Objective：To explore the curative effect and its effect on serum procalcitonin level of flavored Shuanghuanglian Injection in the treatment of bronchial pneumonia.Method：80 cases of patients with Bronchial pneumonia were selected from January 2012 to June 2014，and divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method， 40 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment， the observation group was used flavored Shuanghuanglian Injection treatment on the basis of the control group，the course of the two groups were 10 d.The clinical efficacy and serum procalcitonin level of two groups were observed and compared.Result：The clinical total effective rate of the observation group were better than that in control group，the difference has statistical significance（ P<0.05）；the temperature stability，cough， wheeze， lung’s rale disappear，X-ray inflammation absorption and the average healing time of the observation group were significantly better than the control group， the difference has statistical significance（P<0.05）；after treatment the blood leukocyte count， neutrophil percentage，and serum procalcitonin level of the observation group were significantly lower than the control group， the difference has statistical significance（P<0.05）.Conclusion：The curative effect of flavored Shuanghuanglian Injection in the treatment of bronchial pneumonia is distinct， worthy of clinical popularization and application.
