The Application Value Comparison of Cortisomol and Dentsply Ah-plus Paste in Disposable Root Canal Surgery in Treating Acute Pulpitis

Abstract  Objective:To investigate the application value of Cortisomol and Dentsply ah-plus paste in disposable root canal surgery in treating acute pulpitis.Method:234 acute pulpitis patients(258 diseased teeth)in dental clinic of our hospital were randomly divided into two groups,the observation group( 121 cases,130 diseased teeth) with root canal filling were given Primacaine paste,the control group( 113 cases,128 diseased teeth) with root canal filled were given ah-plus paste of Dentsply.The effects were compared between the two groups.Result:The adverse reaction rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).241 teeth were reexamined after 1 year,the reexamine rate was 93.41%( 241/258),
in the observation group 9 cases lost follow-up and in the control group 8 cases.Therapy efficiency rate and satisfaction rate of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group( P<0.05).Conclusion:The application value of cortisomol in the disposable root canal surgery in treating acute pulpitis is more significant than Dentsply ah-plus paste,the former is worthy of clinical application.
