Abstract Objective：To investigate the clinical effects of early enteral nutrition support for the immune function of patients with severe stroke.Method：110 patients with severe stroke in our hospital were randomly divided into research group and control group，each contained 55 cases.The research group was treated with early enteral nutrition support therapy.The control group was treated with parenteral nutrition support therapy.The hemoglobin（ Hb），serum albumin（ Alb），triglyceride（ TG），T lymphocyte subsets（ CD3+，CD4+，CD8+） before and after treatment and complication rate was compared.Result：After 3 weeks of treatment，the Hb，Alb，TG of the research group was higher than that of the control group，the CD3+，CD4+ was higher than that of the control group，the CD8+ of research group was lower than that of the control group（ P<0.05）.The complication rate of the research group was 10.9%，which was lower than 32.7% of the control group（ P<0.05）.Conclusion：Early enteral nutrition support for the immune function of patients with severe stroke has exact effect.It can effectively improve nutritional status，enhance immunity and reduce complications.It’s worthy of clinical widely used.
