Effect of Nerve Growth Factor on the Function Recovery of Aphasia Patients

Abstract  Objective:To observe the effect of nerve growth factor on the recovery of language function and rehabilitation in cerebral infarction patients with aphasia.Method:80 cases of acute cerebral aphasia patients in our hospital from June 2013 to December 2014 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,40 cases in the the treatment group were treated with nerve growth factor,40 patients in the control group were given conventional treatment without nerve growth factor.The improvement degree of aphasia was compared between the two groups according to their ABC scores.Result:The improvement degree of aphasia in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nerve growth factor can significantly improve the degree of aphasia and promote the recovery of language function.
