Abstract  Objective:To explore the effect of early enteral immune on nutritional status and immune function in elderly patients with gastric cancer after operation.Method:82 gastric cancer patients were selected in our hospital from April 2011 to April 2014 as the research object, and divided into two groups,41 cases in each group. The observation group was trested enteral nutrition, the control group was given parenteral nutrition, the nutrition index of two groups TFN( transferrin),preAlb(prealbumin),Alb( serum albumin),weight, and immune function index of IgG,IgM,IgA,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ of patients before surgery and eighth days after surgery were compared.Result:TFN,preAlb,Alb,and weight of two groups during preoperative showed no significant difference( P>0.05).Eighth days after operation, two groups were decreased, but in observation group was still significantly higher than that in control group, which was closer to preoperative indexes, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before the operation,IgG,IgM,IgA,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ of two groups showed no significant difference( P>0.05).Eighth days after operation, two groups of indexes were lower, but each index level in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group and the index value was closer to the preoperative, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Early enteral immune nutrition can effectively improve nutritional status and immune function in elderly patients, promote the postoperative recovery, has high nutritional value.
