Abstract Objective：To study the importance of positive nursing in the nursing path of Alzheimer’s disease. Method：88 patients over 60 years old who were hospitalized for treatment of Alzheimer’s disease from May 2013 to May 2014 were chosen.They were divided into group A and group B at random.Patients in the group A were given the positive nursing path with emotion while patients in the group A were cured with the application of traditional nursing path.The total effective rate，Mini-mental State Examination（ MMSE） and Activities of Daily Living（ ADL） of the two groups were compared. Result：The effective rate of group A was 75.0% and that of group B was 56.8%.MMSE and ADL of the patients in the group A were obviously better than that in the group B（P<0.05）. Conclusion：Positive nursing is important in the nursing path of Alzheimer’s disease.
