Abstract Objective:To explore the efficacy of QCC in reducing infection of the operating room.Method:QCC activity groups was set up by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Panyu District since June 2014.According select topics, plan activity, control the status, plan countermeasures, make sure the efficacy steps to implement QCC activities. The wound infection and temperature rise rate( >38.0 ℃) 3 days after operation, leukocytosis rate( >10.0×109/L) 3 days after operation were compared before QCC implementation (January 2014 to May 2014) and after QCC implementation( June 2014 to November 2014).The cohesion, sense of responsibility,initiative,self-confidence,problem-solving ability and harmony were compared before QCC implementation and after QCC implementation.Result:The wound infection rate(0.3% vs 1.4%),the rate of temperature rise 3 days after operation( 2.6% vs 5.0%) and leukocytosis rate( 3.3% vs 6.5%)3 days after operation before QCC implementation were significantly lower than that after QCC implementation(P<0.01).The cohesive [(4.2±0.5) points vs (1.9±0.6) points],responsibility [(4.7±0.5) points vs( 3.2±0.8) points],initiative [(4.5±0.6) points vs(2.1±0.5) points],confidence [(4.1±0.5) points vs(2.5±0.7)points],problem solving [(3.8±0.8) points vs(2.7±0.7) points] and harmony [(4.8±0.4) points vs( 3.0±0.9) points] after QCC implementation were significantly higher than that before QCC Implementation(P<0.001). Conclusion:QCC could effectively reduce the operating room infection rate, and improve the overall quality of the participants, improve the ability of QCC team.
